Welsh Government-owned renewable energy developer Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru (Trydan) is planning to tender professional services for two large-scale wind farm developments in South Wales.
Trydan’s aim is to deliver renewable energy projects across the public estate, and to optimise the benefits to Wales from a portfolio of wind energy projects, and potentially other smart energy solutions.
Its £4 million contract would cover Environmental Impact Assessment,
planning, civil engineering (including development of infrastructure designs to support the planning consenting process and technical support (including energy yield analysis , aviation and telecommunication assessments, off-site access assessments and design support, and forestry advice and assessments).
The project will run from1 September 2025 to 30 August 2028.
