E.On expects its new trading arm to begin trading by the end of the year independently from spin-off company Uniper, reports ICIS.

Whereas Uniper is a global energy trading business, E.On will mainly source energy for its customers and sell renewables on the wholesale market on behalf of itself and other companies, an E.On spokesman  told ICIS.

So far, Uniper has been responsible for trading services since the two companies split.
