Innasol has signed a deal to distribute, service and maintain Mercedes Benz Energy’s domestic energy storage products in the UK.
Innasol has already trained 50 installers to install Mercedes Benz Energy domestic batteries at the Innasol Academy in Essex. Those installers will now offer battery storage at the same time as solar PV installation as well as revisiting existing PV customers. The domestic batteries are based on the same battery technology used in Mercedes-Benz electric and hybrid vehicles, which keeps manufacturing costs down.
Stuart Gibson, sales director of Innasol, said: “Our new partnership opens up new markets for us and our partner network, we have started by harnessing our existing partner network training those partners who already specialise in solar PV so they’re able revisit their existing client base as well as bringing new specialist solar PV partners on board.”
