National Grid ESO wants input to its forward plan for the next two years, including metrics to measure its performance and its plans for stakeholder engagement.
Among the issues to be addresses in the period are managing new system operability issues, reducing balancing costs, charging for network services and growing competition in balancing markets.
The SO wants to improve data availability and asks what additional information would be valuable to the market, what benefit it would bring and how it could make the market function better.
The consultation closes on 14 February
