JLEN Environmental Assets Group has successfully started up its first grid-scale battery project, the West Gourdie 50MW plant situated in Dundee, Scotland.
The project will be operated by Flexitricity with Green Nation set to provide asset management services, while Anesco will provide operations and maintenance services.

Meanwhile, Harmony Energy Income Trust’s 20MW/40MWh Farnham battery in Surrey has been energised and is expected to be fully operational by the end of June 2023. It takes Harmony’s operational capacity to 129MW/258MWh.
Five projects under construction continue on track.
