Energy supplier Ovo has launched a new OVO Solar package that includes installing solar panels and storage and a boosted Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) export tariff.

Ovo Solar’s full package will include PV panels and batteries and a flat SEG at 20p per kWh.
The new package is initially launching in Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol, Bath and Taunton. and will be rolled out across the country by the end of the year.

Customers must be the homeowner and live in an eligible postcode (SA, CF, NP, GL, BS, SN BA, TA postcodes). They must also be an OVO Energy customer, sign up to the SEG tariff, have a smart meter and purchase solar panels and a battery through OVO to receive the 20p per kWh SEG rate
Non-OVO Energy customers can purchase solar panels and batteries through OVO, but will not receive the 20p per kWh SEG rate
