Swedish heat pump company Aira has opened a new facility at the Springkerse Industrial Estate in Stirling, central Scotland, to serve Scottish customers. In 2025, the company plans to open an Academy at the site to provide training for the Aira sales team, designers, installers, electricians and all those involved in heat pump installations throughout Scotland.
The Stirling facility also includes a showroom, allowing customers to ‘walk in off the street’ and experience a heat pump first-hand.
Aira said that according to its market research 32% – nearly 1.5 million Scots – are considering the installation of a heat pump, showing that consumer interest in alternative home energy heating solutions, such as heat pumps, is rapidly growing across the country.
It said that heat pumps are the top home energy solution in Scandinavian countries despite their harsh winters.
