West Yorkshire Combined Authority wants to facilitate installation of at least 300 domestic rooftop solar schemes over the next two years through a collective buying scheme and it is looking for a company to run the project.
The Residential Solar collective buying scheme aims to drive down the cost of installing PV through collective purchasing of solar panels and accelerate its deployment. It is inviting tenders from suppliers to run a marketing campaign and identify properties that will help maximize programme outputs and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) outputs. The supplier will deliver and install at least 300 domestic solar systems across West Yorkshire by 31 March 2025 and the contract may be extended.
