West Burton Energy and EIG have completed of the sale of West Burton B power station to TotalEnergies. West Burton B comprises three combined-cycle gas turbines (CCGT) with total output of 1.3GW and it was commissioned in 2013
The sale was first announced on 5 June.
EIG says its management team have established a new battery storage platform to progress projects in the UK including Thorpe Marsh and West Burton C.
