Ofgem has published shortlisted companies bidding for the right to own and operate cables linking offshore wind farms at Galloper and the Walnet Extension to the onshore network. The same bidders were named in both shortlists for the projects. They are Diamond Transmission Partners, Mari Energy Transmission and Transmission Capital Partners.
The companies are bidding for a 20-year fixed revenue scheme from owning and operating the connections.
