Wirsol Energy and Hive Energy have begun consulting on a solar farm that could reach 350MW in capacity and would cover an area of 365 Ha in northern Kent, the Guardian reports.

The developers have written to local residents with details of the proposal to set the project on farmland near the village of Graveny.

The farm would be built without subsidy, according to the report.
