The burgeoning offshore floating wind sector is making waves.
The Scottish government has approved two new schemes: the two-turbine 12MW Dounreay Trì Floating Wind Demonstration Project off the Caithness coast and the eight-turbine 48MW Kincardine Floating Offshore Wind scheme off Aberdeenshire. Scotland has now agreed planning permission for up to 92MW of floating offshore wind capacity.
