Ministers have delayed decisions on two nationally significant energy projects.
This is the second time the Yorkshire and Humber Carbon Capture and Storage Pipeline has been delayed: it was originally due on 19 November and was extended to 19 May so that it was after the decision on the White Rose power station and CCS project.
The latter was refused and the decision has been delayed again until 31 August so that there can be a consultation on whether there is still a need for the pipeline now that its main user is not going ahead.
