Triton Power has been in the UK since 2017 when its parent, Energy Capital Partners, acquired Indian Queens, Saltend and Deeside (see box).
ECP saw the plants as an entry point to the UK, but Triton chief executive Mick Farr says that recent events have found Triton explaining to its parent why the GB market faces unexpected turmoil.
