Npower has announced plans to link with German insurance giant Allianz to provide home insurance and services. The companies are expected to launch a range of heating care packages this summer which could expand into other cover options, and countries across Europe.

In its initial offering, Npower will introduce bespoke home services to its customer base, which will be delivered by Allianz Worldwide Partners’ network of engineers in the UK.
