In June, the Commons Scottish Affairs Committee has been quizzing Decc ministers. Committee chair Pete Wishart MP wanted to know why the UK government had what he termed “a problem with onshore wind”. He asked: “Is it an ideological hostility to it or do you just not like them very much? They are obviously significantly, substantially, assisting us in meeting targets. What is the problem with them?”
