Welsh politicians are getting increasingly twitchy about the fate of the Swansea Bay tidal lagoon project.
Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones told the Labour Party conference that he feared the UK government was not going to back the Swansea project, and the Welsh affairs committee of the UK parliament is reported to be about to hold an inquiry into the delays.
Both that scheme and proposals for a new nuclear power plant on Anglesey feature prominently in the devolved administration’s latest economic strategy, just published.
