The Hendry review into tidal lagoon energy in the UK closed its call for evidence at the end of July. Sian Crampsie took a look at the UK’s potential tidal projects and found barrages more popular than lagoons
With the help of IT Power Consulting and other independent experts, former energy minister Charles Hendry is assessing the feasibility and practicality of tidal lagoon energy in the UK and whether it could play a cost-effective role in the UK’s energy mix. He is due to report later this year.
