Green Energy UK has launched a variable tariff for residential electricity customers, saying it will give customers more control over their energy bills.

The new tariff is called Tide. It encourages consumers to vary their use in line with this and consume electricity in periods of lower demand when the price is lower. It offers variable pricing during the day and at weekends.
