Ofgem has begun publishing details of why companies failed to pre-qualify to take part in the contracts for difference (CfD) and Capacity Market (CM) auctions.
According to records of the decisions taken regarding appeals over qualification, CfD parties failed to demonstrate that they met the necessary conditions.
Two energy from waste companies, Ospre and Drenl, were dismissed by the regulator when they argued that connection offers (both from UK Power Networks) were equivalent to connection agreements.
