Qatar Petroleum has announced plans to place development of a gas-fired CHP plant at the South Hook terminal on hold.
The project was awarded development consent in October 2014 and a final investment decision was expected shortly. The project had qualified for December’s Capacity Market auction, but it did not get a contract as the price fell to £19.40/kW.
