Ofgem administrators paid to run the botched Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme in Northern Ireland failed to flag up potentially exploitative usage to officials at DETI, despite sharing such intelligence with civil servants running the similar initiative in Great Britain, according to evidence given at the inquiry into the “cash for ash” scandal.
