Mixed fortunes for two wind farms in Northern Ireland: planners have recommended refusal for North Power Croaghan’s 11.5MW project at Macosquin near Coleraine, and the 25MW Castlecraig scheme developed by RES at Drumquin in County Tyrone is due to be operating shortly.
London-based Asper Investment Management and the Craydel Group have sealed financing for a 43MW wind farm in County Mayo that will be developed by their Invis Energy company.
General Electric is auctioning its 40% stake in the 400MW Tynagh CCGT in County Galway.
