Energy supplier Extra Energy has appointed Jon Bauer as group chief information officer. He will head technology, IT and development organisations across the UK, Germany and Cyprus. Extra Energy says more than 500,000 of its customers use its own customer management and billing system.

Hoppecke Industrial Batteries has appointed Jon Bailey as head of its UK operation, with a remit to pursue organic growth across the motive, special and reserve power sectors. Bailey joins Hoppecke UK from Johnson Controls.
