Janet Wood discusses new business models and new energy competitors with Pöyry’s Richard Sarsfield-Hall
Engineering consultant Pöyry estimates, with others, that half of Europe’s cars will be electric by 2040. That is a big positive for Richard Sarsfield-Hall, director of Pöyry Management Consulting (Energy). This year the company completed a year-long study that looks at the challenge of full decarbonisation and how it can be achieved. Within that, electric vehicles – and hydrogen – are an important interface with the electricity market.
