I love the net zero target. I think it makes it very clear where we are going.

It doesn’t tell us how to get there, and I have heard some in the industry express concern that we don’t have the policies in place that will do that.

I don’t have that fear. First, I think that having all the policies in place first is a sure-fire way to ensure it never happens. Who would be developing the policy? Certainly pressure groups, but what would be the response from policymakers if there was no target to pull the policy into reality?
